Claudia Sartini-Rideout holds a degree from the University of Siena (Italy), and she received a Master’s degree and a Ph.D. from the University of Iowa.  

She has been teaching as a lecturer at the University of Iowa since 2012. During her time at the University, she has been teaching elementary and intermediate level Italian language courses and a course on Italian Food Culture. She has also developed online Italian language courses through DOE (University of Iowa Distance and Online Education).
